Over dinner a couple of months ago I pondered the benefits of attending WPPI with my husband. At the conclusion of the conversation I had talked myself out of attending WPPI and decided I would rather attend a workshop… a Jasmine Star Workshop to be exact. The only problem with my decision was Jasmine didn’t have any upcoming workshops. Much to my surprise the very next day I received a newsletter from Jasmine with details about her April workshop… I think my heart stopped! I couldn’t get to the computer fast enough to sign up and an hour later I received a confirmation that I had a spot.
Fast forward to last week…
We left for California on Monday morning… after checking into our hotel we were off to see the ocean. The remainder of our day was spent checking out Orange County and dreaming about life with the beach as our backyard.
Monday evening I met up with about 15 workshop attendees and Jasmine for drinks and dessert at Claim Jumper- the group was amazing! We talked the night away about photography and life. I had a fabulous time getting to know everyone!
Tuesday morning it was time for the workshop… yes, I was nervous! My wonderful husband dropped me of at the The Woodbury and spent the day exploring Orange County by himself (I love him!) The workshop was AMAZING! I can’t say it enough, the information on branding was exactly what I needed! I can’t wait to implement the information I learned to my business. Look for these changes in the near future! You might just visit my site and get a little SURPRISE!!! Later in the day we were off to the hills for a photo session with Colton and Michelle. Aren’t they just the cuttiest couple you’ve ever seen!!! They are newlyweds who flew in from Virginia to be our models for the day. Not only is Michelle a fabulous model but she is an amazing photographer- check her blog out here. Thanks Colton and Michelle! It was wonderful meeting you and I wish you the best on the new adventure in Virginia!
Jasmine showing us how it’s done- fabulous style!

Jasmine and JD- You are inspiring! I can’t say thank you enough for the information you shared and your friendship. I LOVED every minute of the workshop!
